Richmond Pal-Item editorial describes Pence response to Iraq Study Group report
Congressman Pence is mentioned today in a Richmond Palladium-Item editorial on the Iraq Study Group report. Congressman Pence's statement on the report is available here.
Here is an excerpt from the editorial:
Rep. Mike Pence, a member of the House International Relations Committee, responding to the release Wednesday of the Iraq Study Group report.'
On the surface, the statements from our own U.S. Rep. Mike Pence and the co-chairs of the much-awaited Iraq Study Group report sound similar.
In reality, they probably could not be further apart.
Pence uses terms like "mission" with a kind of certainty lacking in the Iraq Study Group report.
Simply put, the Bush policy in Iraq "is not working," the report concludes. It calls the situation there "grave and deteriorating."

House passes legislation introduced by Congressman Pence to name Capitol room after Rep. Hyde
On Tuesday, Congressman Pence delivered a speech on the House floor honoring retiring Rep. Henry Hyde of Illinois. The House also passed legislation introduced by Congressman Pence to name a room in the Capitol after Rep. Hyde.
