Congressman Mike Pence today announced that he will help kick off the first-ever "Blog Row" to be held in the U.S. Capitol Building tomorrow. Pence will discuss the importance of putting our fiscal house in order with bloggers providing real-time blog updates about their discussions with Members of Congress.
Senate Votes to Forgo Pay Raise
The U.S. Senate yesterday voted to forgo their annual pay raise as part of an effort to tighten the federal budget. Congressman Pence welcomed the move, saying it could be included in a much broader package of savings being crafted in the House.
